What's to come in v0.30 - Gameplay Overhaul!

So, theres a bunch of stuff coming in v0.30, which will release soon(tm).

  • Gameplay overhaul:
  • Hand weapons are much more wieldy, able to shoot fast and with minimal windup, but are weaker in damage.
  • Rig weapons are much more powerful but reload slower and often slow you down for 3 seconds when firing! Denoted by the [Heavy] tag.
  • As a result, the gameplay is mostly applying damage with hand weapons and using rig weapons where possible. No longer button mashing, as heavy weapons have a lot of cost associated. They still aren’t ignore-able! Rig weapons often do so much damage that they’re quite necessary to finish the fight.
  • A new, experimental category of weapons is being tested and going to be put in v0.30, the Vanquisher-class weapons. These weapons are monstrous in power, and your only hope to defeat them is to put a severe stun on the enemy before they fire. You’ll have plenty of warning and they’ll be mostly immobile.
  • A new stage! The Topol Three stage will be open, and finally, there’s a new boss to fight.
  • Many new weapons: TAIGA-VI machinegun, 5YEARPLAN shotgun, MORDHAU greatsword, IMPALER rapier, STEELPLATE shield, BLOODTAX drones, and the Vanquisher-class KONDENZATOR
